As I don’t have kids and therefore don’t need to buy teachers gifts, I have no idea how much people usually spend on them. What’s the average per gift?

I’ve got this personalised unframed print and card set which can have the Teacher’s name and the child’s name on.

Plus these personalised Thank you Teacher cards.

My sister normally spends about ÂŁ30 on my nephews teachers.
But he has three.
So that’s £10 per teacher.

Wow, that’s quite a lot to find. I wonder when this idea started - I certainly didn’t ever give gifts to my teachers when I was at school, and neither did any of my friends, but that was a long time ago!! I wonder do parents feel pressurised into following, or is it not really expected of everyone?

I can’t remember my parents buying Teacher gifts when I was at school, but I always made my own little card.

I always got my daughters teachers gifts at Primary school, but not now she’s at high school.

I have bookmarks, charms, keyrings :0)
