(Grimm Exhibition) #1

I havnt made seasonal items(except Xmas) for years, Ive seen Halloween items in the shops in easlry September, but this year Ive had an idea and Id like to give it a go.
I wondered if you makes seasonal items and which part of the year(except Xmas) sells best for you. Add pics if you wish.

Heart based jewellery seems to sell year round (romance isn’t dead apparently) so I don’t target it specifically at valentines (but have tagged it as valentines just in case). I don’t do anything specifically aimed at christmas or any other seasonal event.

I don’t make anything too specific for any occasion anymore apart from a small amount of Christmasy cards. Some years they sell well but others they don’t. I try not to because I always fear being stuck with stock, and my style develops to quickly that I don’t want to be stuck with things that look outdated. Luckily last years Christmas cards don’t look out of place next to my other items so I can try and sell the rest of those this year.

Made these this month…see if they sell!

These are my three lovely fabric pumpkins. So great as table decorations or to put on a shelf and can be used every year.

They would look lovely in a window with fairy lights x

I’ve been making Halloweeen themed miniature dinosaurs and hair clips, here’s a few of them!

There are lots more Halloween things in my shop too as it is one of my favourite times of year
