As requested, I’ve tried to think of craftwork that hasn’t been featured before… but of course I haven’t been here since Folksy started, so I may be covering old ground.

Peg loom weaving
Musical instrument makers (from tin whistles and ocarinas to more complex like mandolins and guitars)
Rug making - braided, rag rugs, woven etc
Tinware (from recycled tin cans etc)
New work from old cutlery (I’ve seen coat hooks etc)
Patination (jewellery with heat/chemical treatments to alter the colour)
Enamelling
Distressed (anything with a distressed finish)
Seared woodwork
Paper flowers
Mosaics
Bits and pieces (anything making use of fragments such as mosaics, patchwork etc
Lost wax techniques in jewellerymaking
Brass and copper
Lacemaking
Millinery
Encaustic art

And from my own discipline:
No-wheel ceramics (ie handbuilt rather than thrown on the wheel)
Unglazed ceramics
Naked clay ceramics
Tiles
Stoneware
Earthenware
Porcelain

October connection:
Opals (birthstone of Librans like me)
Octagons
Balance (Libra birth sign)
First frosts
Pumpkins and squashes
Gifts to warm to (socks, mitts, ear warmers, hot water bottle covers etc)

To try to encourage people to buy even when times are hard:
Budget beaters
Underscore…Gifts under £20
Too good to miss price tags
