Hello everyone… late on today, as I was treated to an early coffee in the café at Waitrose/John Lewis by the other half, who wanted to scoot off early and buy a new suitcase! I tell you this only by way of saying that while he was luggage shopping I was sniffing around the gifty things at JL and I have to say that so many of the things featured on here (and on Folksy in general) are incredibly good value compared with the mass-produced, made in China, dubious quality items they had on display (yes, even in JL they have their fair share of, erm, toot!)… So we should hold our heads up high and proud for our art and design!! Worth reminding ourselves occasionally.
