Loving the hoop photos. Great for exercise and such good fun too. It’s rather addictive too, so be warned.
My eldest got into pole dancing at uni (partly for physical exercise but also to help her mental health). She also tried ariel silks - ok but not for her - and also hoops, which she really loved.
During lockdown classes stopped so she bought herself a freestanding pole, but her flat was too small to use it properly. Since then she’s not lived in an area with decent classes - until her recent move to York. She’s found a great group that offers loads of different dance and exercise classes. It also does belly dancing - so she’s trying that too.
And her new house has a garden big enough to have a freestanding hoop frame, so I expect she’ll be buying one as soon as we re-lay the paving after digging up that dratted bamboo.

A sunny start after a rainy afternoon yesterday but expecting thunderstorms soon, poor Koko will be hiding in the shower bless her.
The hoop class looks great fun @Little1Leather, my daughter in law does pole dancing and often posts videos which I look at and think how is she doing that! My old joints can barely keep me walking 
Does anyone have any advice, I haven’t had a sale for weeks and I’m getting a bit despondent. I post regularly on FB and instagram and on FB crafters shops etc but this isn’t getting any sales. Any advice gratefully appreciated.

Took Zara out for her walk this AM and was pleased to see that the ground was wet (even though it was not raining right now) - as like most – we haven’t seen rain in a bit and it’s my preference it rains at night and NOT when I have to do the dog walks 
@kokoblue - I did pole for a year – enjoyed it a lot, but financially – the gym membership with the classes I enjoy a few times a week is cheaper monthly than what the pole studio cost for 1 class a week. If I ever get a lottery winfall, then I can afford to do both, but for now - I’ll just stick to my weekly zumba classes 
Regarding with social media postings – I still make posts on X (formerly Twitter) along with posts on Bluesky & Threads & random TikTok videos that have links and if one of those videos does decently on views – I sometimes remember to upload them onto my YouTube channel (which is a wide variety of videos from leather goods to walking Zara to mini vlogs I have made from my travels. That being said – on Facebook, I post into various crafter’s groups / themed groups (for me, that’s more like goth, etc) and I always make a note on my posts asking people who see them, if they like the items, for them to repost / share them. Sometimes, they do (pretty sure that helps) – I know this does do something as I look at my stats here on Folksy and a good number of hits are coming from outside of Folksy.

Now – what I would love to see, would be - if someone doesn’t buy something – I’d love a pop up for feedback that would ask them WHY they didn’t shop today? (ie - wrong colour, didn’t like price, just window browsing, etc). But that’s just me. Oh, and everytime I make a new listing – I pin it to a board on Pinterst as sometimes, a few views come from there as well.
But yea – so I make posts on all sorts of social medias in different places as you never know who’s looking when and on what platforms … Hope that helps?

Thank you for your advice @Little1Leather, I’ve had a look at my stats and they are pretty similar to yours and I agree it’s a question of why these hits don’t translate into sales. I’m not very good with social media and have done a few reels with varying degrees of success . Things like you tube and tiktok are not places I’ve tried so maybe I need take a deep breath, exhale and explore these

I have listed a baby towel today. For some reason I was unable to turn the photo of the whole towel right way up. Oddly, I definitely didn’t photograph it upside down! I decided to post it like that for now, but I do intend to take another picture and see what happens.

The hoop is NOT easy and I’ve got bruises in places that I wouldn’t be photographing and ALL of my muscles are still aching … gotta go eat some more ibuprofen.
And @kokoblue - I’m not the best with videos/reels - but I did do a Tiktok that was literally a slide show of 4 photos of my WHDs (wheelchair handle deterrents) set to music and it went crazy (currently at just over 34K views) - when my average video gets between 700 - 1000 views – so you never know what it going to ‘hit’ and what isn’t. Just keep posting, I mean – I look at it this way – it’s a free app and I’ll take whatever views people wanna give me !

Thank you everyone for the advice on my “lost in the post” painting.
Admin have refunded the fee and fortunately told me that it would automatically be put back for sale in my shop.!!!
Can you imagine the panic if someone saw it and tried to buy it,. or even worse the original customer seeing it for sale after being told it was lost in the post.
It is somewhere out there in the ether !!!

Overslept for me must have needed it. All that walking round the garden centre and then planting what we had bought. That always takes longer than anticipated as have to work around tree roots.
A new creation today, a DTP (Design Team Project) must do the video for the group this morning.
