@ShropshireNaturalProducts Donna I hope Bear is OK. My road is just the same. Half a mile past my cottage it’s a 50mph limit but in front of me it’s 30 as the road goes from country to urban. We have to leave our drive to enter the road on a blind bend which is doable when they’re traveling at 30 but most of them are still doing 50. I’ve been onto the highways numerous times to have a mirror fitted so we can see round the bend but they deem the road safe! We have had numerous near misses, how we haven’t been hit I don’t know!

Pinned and tweeted and caught up with you all. Donna @ShropshireNaturalProducts - hope Bear is OK. That’s what happened to our Phoenix about a month ago. He hadn’t got a mark on him but must have had a sufficient bump to kill him. I mentioned the fog earlier and the traffic going through the village at 7 am this morning was certainly ignoring the 30 mph and the foggy conditions - even my husband commented on what maniacs they are. Sue @GlitteramaCrafts - so sorry to hear about your FIL - stressful time for you - hope you keep strong and hugs sent to you. Max @paperchainsandbeads - sounds like you need some help to clear that chest infection. And where is Natalie @NOfkantsCurios - I do hope she is OK. I can ask at post office about postage and the cheapest way? Any ideas? I only ever post cards and small pkts really, there’s only been a few times when I have bulk orders and had to post by courier - parcel force, they were the cheapest.

Thank you everyone for all you good wishes for Bear, he is purrring loudly because all the lovely folksy ladies are thinking of him, he is definitely a ladies cat lol 
He’s a bit battered, he’s lost a tooth and is limping quite badly, but is eating and going to the toilet which is a good sign. He has an appointment with the vet later. I am so glad I took out pet insurance when we decided to keep him

Wow, what hectic lives some of you have! Feel that I know you all a bit more now after being on here this month and you all seem so genuinely friendly with each other it’s lovely. I still feel a bit of a stranger so please don’t feel offended if I don’t enter into some of your chatter, it’s just I am nervous of being too familiar.
Anyway I am pleased to add another sale to my tally, 4 badges this time! and one in my etsy shop too which has been quiet too.

@20thCenturyGirl - I know how you feel about being a newbie. I was reluctant to join in when I first joined this group but everyone was so incredibly supportive when I was going through some really tough times with my daughter in the summer. It really feels a bit like a family now - I think its fab the way everyone is thinking about each other which is showing at the moment in the concern for Natalie - glad to hear she is OK BTW if a little busy.

Steph @stephshortstationery - RM have an offer at the moment of £2.80 Second Class for a small parcel up to 2kg in weight (it’s normally over a fiver for 1-2kg) - I imagine that would be the best deal for this type of item, though I am not sure quite how much cake is involved here!
