Carol @Knittingtopia your blanket is fantastic ! @leathermeister if it is not a trade secret what do you use to emboss the leather ?- I have visions of you having to etch the designs into metal or can you use a laser cutter or something ?- bit of a tool geek here - love to know how things are done.
All caught up to here. Off to try and get an early night for once. School run starts again tomorrow and I need to be reasonably ‘with it’ to make sure everyone gets where they need to be on time.

My daughter finally arrived at the sanctuary in Namibia. I got a text to say they had met “some awesome animals and people” so sounds like she’s going to enjoy it. I can relax now (well sort of) until its time for the journey home although I don’t think it’s the travelling that bothers her as much as the thought of being away from home so hopefully the journey back will be ok for her.

Good morning Sapphires. Just caught up to here. I’ve veen MIA for about 5 days with hubby’s birthday party and guests staying over. Hoping to catch up with listing today.
Morning Saphires @NOfkantsCurios we’ll take a look let you know later on. @LouiseGraceJewellery wouldn’t it be great for all of us to get more traffic and sales. Most items in the shop can be remade, so even if its sold out a similar one can be remade, colour may vary though.
Can’t wait to see the necklace. @DeborahJonesJewellery we laser cut the plates, then use a 20 ton press, followed by individually hand dying. @Dawitchi sounds like the party was a success.

Sorry I didn’t get back at all yesterday, I was all out of sorts with Cameron starting college.
I had to have a running ‘text’ commentary of his journey on all the buses he had to catch and when he arrived there etc. I must say, watching him getting on the bus( as the stop is just outside outer house) I had a lump in my throat!
He was shattered when he got back at tea time, he said it was ok and that he didn’t really get talking to anyone, but it said that it’s always like that and t’s early days.
Just have to see how the week pans out, he still has his name down at Gateshead if he wanted to change.

A quick relist from me, then I need to finish off a custom order - the mum of one of my old school friends and her friend are off on a cruise soon & wanted some jewellery made for them - so 4 necklaces, I bracelet & 1 pair of earrings almost completed. The family along with friends have turned into some of my best customers!
