An ocean inspired pendant

I made this one some time ago. The barrel was made from Paua Abalone strips that were carefully cut to length and chamfered for a good fit on the barrel. Once the strips were glued in place the tube was cast in resin then turned down to shape on a wood lathe. Very challenging to make and sold virtually straight away for £125.
