Thank you for the compliment Tom @tomswoodworkbyhand , while I think this would not make a very good work lamp, the bulb and lamp’s intention is decorative, if you give me a shout if and when you are ready I am sure we could put our heads together and design something with similar looks to better suit your needs.

Altered house shaped wooden box, trinket/keepsake or battery tealight holder. Partly painted, modelling paste, gold leaf wax, decoupage, air dry clay moon face and 3d printed chimney, with swallows and butterflies in black, deep red, gold. I also fitted this box with lovely antique look lions claw feet

At fairs and shows, many talk to me and say similar, “I used one of those in my apprenticeship” and the like. I love to bring back happy memories like that.
This is the third avometer lamp that I’ve reworked in this way, all slightly different, with two more waiting to be done
