Well it’s only the 26th, but it’s a short month and there are just a couple of days before we hit March - with it’s leaping lambs and bouncing bunnies - and a whole new 31 days of the Daily Listing Promotion Challenge. Who wants to join in?
It’s fun and a great way to get a bit of extra Folksy exposure for your shop and your lovely listings.
It does take a few minutes each day but it’s well worth it because everyone who joins in gets the benefit - come and join us for a bit of group support, happy sales dancing, cake on the naughty step (calorie free) and a moment in the spotlight on Folksy’s front page.
Taking part does require a bit of time and commitment, but it is really easy and the group is very supportive.
Don’t worry if you are new to the challenge, or even new to Folksy and the Forum - we will walk you through it. The actual challenge thread will open on the 1st (or the night before if I’m still awake 
), but for now just have a read through this summary and see if it’s for you.
RULES FOR TAKING PART
Add your listed item each day, with a link back to that item in your Folksy shop. Relists are fine if you don’t have something new every day.
Click on all of the links for everyone else’s items GO TO THEIR SHOP and hit the items 
- this gives that listing a brief appearance on the front page - so more chance of getting seen (this is the main rule for joining in 
)
If you’ve got the time then promote fellow listers outside of Folksy using social media e.g. feature them in a post or pin or do a Folksy Friday board for Instagram - any one of these if you can.
Let us know when you have a Folksy sale by tagging me in a reply, so we can celebrate and happy dance with you.
The idea is we all do the same for everyone on the thread which gives us all an extra boost, there’s also virtual hugs and support - we are a great community, supporting each other along the way!
You must be prepared to join in with the promotion (clicking each link on the thread WHICH TAKES YOU TO THE SHOP and then clicking on the white heart 
on the item listing to turn it into a red this is a requirement of joining in)
Missing the odd day is fine,and of course joining in for part of the month is fine too - we understand not everyone can do all the days. Just jump in and join from any day (you don’t need to go back and all the earlier listings, you can go forward from the day you join).
I will be “Mum” for March’s Challenge, and will keep tally of your sales and help lead the cheering and dancing along the way **. Looking forward to seeing who will be joining in.
