I joined this group for the first time in June, it is a community though where everyone supports each other, whether their work interests is to your taste or not. People do chat but you don’t have to read the chats, or engage in them.
We are all individual and thankfully not everyone produces the same. I think that if the support (by clicking on the heart on the actual shop page) is followed it works well and gets your item on the front page for a while, however, if we don’t all support each other together it doesn’t work,
if I ‘love’ your work, I would expect you to do the same with mine as that is in the rules.
You don’t actually have to like my work, you could really dislike it, but the rule is that you click the heart on my item in the shop and that I do the same for you.
So the rule is to click on the heart on people’s work even if you don’t like it. If you can’t do that, then there’s no need to join this group as it’s not the right one for you.
@teabreaks Brenda, one of the posts was taken down by the time I posted my comments so my response may be way off the mark, I was thinking that maybe our new group member is taking it literally that you have to ‘love’ others work,
It wasn’t me who took it down and I know what it said…because I saw it before it was flagged. Don’t hold your breath about the new member…It is such a shame because we are all trying to help him. Please don’t worry about it…you are doing fine and have settled well into the forums…xx
It will need to be mid-month for me as need to drop off the radar again for a while at the beginning of the month but I’ll look forward to joining you then
