I can hardly believe we are reaching the end of April! wow where does the time go? So here we are springing into May and it’s time to start thinking about shedding our winter woollies and loooking forward to some warmer weather (well we can hope can’t we :wink:)

The Daily Listers thread is a really friendly group with lots of hugs, support and advice for everyone taking part, new members are always very welcome so why not come and join us and enjoy the community spirit whilst giving your shop a bit of a promotion boost.

If you have not taken part in a daily listing challenge before and are wondering what it is all about, this is how it works:

The daily listing thread is a personal challenge to list an item a day for the month - It is a personal challenge, and we don’t mind if they are new items or re-lists either as long as it’s a different listing each day :slight_smile:.

Everyone is made very welcome in the group, but you must be prepared to join in with the spirit of the group and support team members by clicking individual items and promoting others regularly by hearting, pinning tweeting etc. We understand not everyone is going to be able to list every day and that’s fine too as long as you join in regularly and play fairly.

Once you have listed your item, you come to the thread and tell us what you have listed or re-listed, with a link to that item, so we can check it out too.

You will then click on the links and visit the items of your fellow daily listers as a simple way to show you are taking part. Listing members really appreciate that you have stopped by, hearts are welcome too.

Promote not just your own item, but fellow listing members too, in whatever way you are able, by pinning, stumbling, Facebook liking (you can do this via the Folksy Shop Group Facebook Page if you want), Blogging, Tweeting, just do whatever you can, and don’t forget to use the thread tag #Folksy365 on social media to both find and be found by fellow team members :). In this way we all support and promote each other, and help raise awareness of our crafts and of Folksy too, all of which has to be a good thing.

Please remember that although sales cannot be certain, additional promotion can be, which has to be a good thing! so please do pop over and join in you would be very welcome :slight_smile:

I failed miserably on the daily bit this month but you’ve become my equivalent of a water cooler to hang round so so long as you don’t mind me failing miserably on the daily bit again I’m in.

Absolutely! @SashaGarrett exactly this! I just can’t fit in the daily listings bit as I’m still working full time in the day job but pop in very regularly to love and pin. I think April has been the best in terms of gorgeous stuff posted since I started. so I’m looking forward to May. I’ve so many lovely things I’m saving up for in my faves. It’s also great to get love and feedback for my own stuff too with 4 April sales to report! @Max Pring Jewellery

I’ll try to join in after been AWOL for a while, my mojo did a runner at the same time as my MiL been ill and in/out of hospital so craft in general has taken a back seat since Christmas :worried: I can’t promise every day as I’m still getting back into the habit of listing daily but will try my best :slight_smile:

I’ve never plucked up the courage to join this thread because I don’t think I could keep up with a listing every day. However, I’ve decided to take the plunge in the hope it might push me to be more productive (and if I fail on the listing front at least I can still help with promoting you all).

Hi Helen, I’ve done 2 of these this year, really recommend having a go. It’s hard work, but you get into the swing of it. Great support network, and it makes you focus on your day.

I’m definitely in. I upgraded to a Plus account this month and am making an effort to promote. I’ve already had a sale, so I’m keen to see if it continues and the upgrade pays for itself. :smile:

Thanks for the encouragement. I’ve been wanting to join in with this for so long but kept putting it off. I’m determined to give it a go and as you say it may help me focus.

I’m in - might be a bit late on a few days at the beginning of May but will be around thereafter and will have lots of new stuff to,show :grinning:
