OOohh very nice Hazel! @HazelRayfield

This is my latest purchases for my own doll’s house - a beautiful little handmade desk from an artisan in the States.

And this is the study, I have to make lots of little books for the bookshelves and I have a desk to go into it too.

This will be the maid’s room. Not made her any bedding yet!

It all looks amazing Shirley, I really love the the desk

This mini world is addictive is’t it

It definitely is addictive Hazel.

Glad you like the desk and chair. I saved up for months for it.
Will fill it with little letters, and bits and bobs eventually.

These are amazing items and pictures. I love miniature things, but I’m a bit old for dolls house now…

You are NEVER too old for a doll’s house @Merryflowers Janine!

They are not for children - LOL - just grown up kids like us.

Janine I only got into miniatures last year, without giving away my age lol I remember the 1970’s so I would have to agree with Shirley you are never too old for a Miniature scene or Dolls House.

I started painting in miniature last year when a lady who owns one of my larger pieces of art commissioned me to paint a series of tiny miniatures for her Georgian Manor House.

From then on I was hooked and my husband built me The Gallery to house my own collection of miniature art.

My miniature paintings are now in Dolls houses in Europe and the US it’s a very big past time with many people having more than one house or property, they are not toys but collectors items many of them. I myself would love a second one as a studio but space is the issue here what with our house already full of Art In Wax !!!

Hazel

I’m being drawn back into miniatures. Had dolls houses from the age of 6 up to…well… a few years ago (and I’m mid 40s now!)

I still have my gypsy caravan, but haven’t got room for the houses any more.

Here are a few of the dolls house paintings I do - a couple of bundles of them went off last week to the USA and the Netherlands  And there’s a lot selling to the UK too.

I have some of the ones with animals listed in my Dandelion’s Gallery shop, and some of the non-animal ones in my Dandelion’s Miniature Gallery shop

Miniature hoop art:

I know it’s a bit early for Christmas but I made this with some miniature wreaths and tiny snowmen. The snowmen are only about 1cm tall!

Thank you Shirley  I have several inchies cut out ready to paint, are there any themes you’d like particularly like to see?

Steph @StephanieGuy doll’s house is Victorian / Arts and Crafts, so nothing contempory.
Landscapes or maybe William Morris type pattern or a peacock?
Big ask I know on something so small.

@WhimsyWooDesigns Shirley I’ve just listed these two inchie landscapes. Please don’t feel under any obligation at all to buy either of them! I’ll hold off posting your seascape until 4ish so that I can combine postage if you do decide to buy either of them.
