You’ve got some great advice already! I’m still new to this, and haven’t really sold much, but I try to look at marketing as part of the creative process - both writing and photography are creative, so thinking of them as such makes them seem more enjoyable and less like a chore!

I think of Folksy as my website and they kindly deal with all the payment side of things, which I could never do on my own…Don’t give up…stick with it, as it takes a while to get noticed. It was 3 months before I got my first sale and many others will tell you the same thing.
I DID start an art thread but it seems to have disappeared…perhaps I will start a new one so that you can show your work on there…the more publicity the better. Check out later today…I will start one for 2025…and title it " 2025 art thread "…the more you show your work…the more people will get to know you xxx…hope that helps a bit more. x

Yes! I was feeling quite despondent and, on the spur of the moment, decided to post my feelings of frustration on the forum and I’m really glad I did.
Receiving so many words of sound advice, encouragement and support have made such a difference to my frame of mind. I’m going to take a bit of time out and review all my listings and photos and see if I can generate more interest.
