Wow half way through the summer and hasn’t it been a hot one! So if you are looking for a challenge and have the time to help promote your fellow folksters why not come and join us in the Daily Listing and Team Promotion Challenge to help you next month with a promotion boost and group support
Taking part requires some time, but it is really easy and the group are so supportve, all you need to do is :-
List your item for the day
Click on all of the links for everone elses items and hit the - this gives a brief appearance on the front page - so more chance of getting seen (this is the main rule for joining in )
If you can promote others as well e.g. tweet or pin or do a Folksy Friday board (this doesn’t have to be everyone on the thread just pick a few a day if you can)
Let us know when you have a Folksy sale, so we can celebrate and happy dance with you.
The idea is we all do the same for everyone on the thread which gives us all an extra boost, there’s also virtual hugs and support, we are a great community, supporting each other along the way!
You must be prepared to join in regularly throughout the month - missing the odd day is fine and of course joining in for part month is fine also, we understand not everyone can be here very single day so just jump in and join from that day forwards (you don’t need to go back and all the earlier listings)

Yes Siobhan we TRY to do a brand new listing every day for a month and then go and like everyone else’s work ( in their shop)…it takes time but it helps to get us all on the front page for a short time.
When you get a sale, come and tell us and it will be added to the month’s tally of sales.
Please don’t worry if you get it wrong, miss an occasional day or do a relist that we have seen before…we are very easy going …and if you are naughty ( joke) we have a virtual naughty step where you can come for drinks and cream cakes…nom nom
If you have quite a few listings, then why not give it a go?..It will help us to get to know you too. Folksy really is a lovely place to be…xx
Hi, have a look at how we do things in the July thread and you will soon get a hang of how it all works in time for the first of September. We’re a friendly bunch, so don’t be afraid to ask questions.
Will try my best but will depend on whether my mojo decides it needs another holiday or if it will hang around a bit! Will have to see how it goes - I do miss you lot when I have to dip out
