This evening I made this cute little sketch book and I would like to make a series of them but I am drawing a blank on British wildlife. Even Google hasn’t been that helpful.
Ideally I wanted to do a wildlife silhouette on seven colours (because rainbows!) I tried a badger but the silhouette isn’t instantly recognisable without the stripe and it could have been a badger or a monkey! I have rabbits, a squirrel and an owl planned. What other British animals are there?
How about hedgehog, field mouse (harvest or dormouse), otter, a garden bird or a seabird e.g. puffin, deer or stag, hare - that’s all I can think of apart from wildcat and various other weasels and stoats but probably not very recognizable. Good luck.
I would definitely agree with a stag. You could also have a heron or a butterfly.
A mole coming out of a hole perhaps, a squirrel, a dolphin in the sea, flying bats and owls or a highland cow?
Stags, wild ponies (New Forest/ Dartmoor), bats, heron, birds of prey, weasels, otters, dolphins. Sure there are more still.
