Biggest Fan for the Week 2025

Hey, are we interested in starting a new version of this thread for the New Year?

If so, my biggest fan was @JillDaviesArt. Thank you Jill for the likes and the follow! Hard to pick one item from your lovely shop, but here’s a beautiful picture of a stormy sea at Portrush:

For those that haven’t joined in with previous editions, the idea is to check your weekly activity stats, find out who has liked the greatest number of items in your shop and post something from their shop here, as above.

Apologies if I sound thick – but how do we see who was our ‘biggest fan’?

Thanks.

A big thank you to Joss @XStitcherJoss for being my biggest fan of the week.

You get an email early on a Monday morning saying " there’s been some activity in your shop…", and further down in that it will tell you.

I have just received mine, and last week my biggest fan was @SeaPinkCards . Thank you so much…
Here is a lovely card from her shop, for a Niece.

Hi Stephen

I love your work, and appreciate the compliment on my stormy sea print. It took a while to complete the original watercolour, and remains one of my favourites.

Although I’m not new to Folksy I am new to interacting with other members and I’ve found it really fascinating to be lead to other members work and see the talent on display. I’ve already spied some items I’d like to purchase.

Your enthusiasm has given me the push to view my own shop, although it needs improvement, from a better perspective.

Warmest regards

Jill

Hey Jill, that’s great, so glad you’re feeling inspired! I’ve found getting involved more here on the forum hugely rewarding too, and as you say, it opens our eyes to the talent that’s out there. I find I’m checking in here most days at the moment.

I agree. So many talented people making so many things. And sellers are also buyers - those that make cards might then look on Folksy if they want some Jewellery, those that make jewellery might look for a picture for the wall, the artists might look for a new cushion cover to add to a room, the person who sews might be tempted by a useful basket and the basket weaver might turn to Folksy to stock up on birthday cards…etc…etc.

My biggest fan this week was Jayne @beyondthefielddesigns Thank you!

This is her very pretty heart decoration;

Here’s some gorgeous fleece from this lovely shop, beautiful blues. I’ll have to get needle felting again when I get a bit of spare time!
