Brighton's Street Food & Makers Market

Paper Daisy Street Food & Makers Markets are heading back to Brighton! These events will be outside only, hosted by the lovely Brighthelm Gardens. Entry is totally FREE for visitors.

June 12th
July 10th
August 14th

All running 11am - 5pm

We’re all about supporting local, independent businesses, so we’re looking for an eclectic mix of traders! All traders will need to bring their own setup with them, eg. gazebo, table, generator (if required). There are a variety of stall sizes available, from table only to full gazebo setups for food traders. If you’d like to share stalls this can also be accommodated, please just mention both sellers details in the application form.

If you’re a maker or street foodie who would like to take part in the events then please apply via our website: https://www.paperdaisyevents.co.uk/apply-for-event

If you have any questions before applying then you can email us at: paperdaisyevents@outlook.com

All events will adhere to Covid guidelines, and social distancing rules will apply until the Government rules change.

Q&A

How do you get to the Brighthelm Gardens?

The Brighthelm Centre is easily accessible which makes this the perfect venue in Brighton! If you’re travelling by train, the closest station is Brighton Station. You can find the Brighthelm Gardens on Queens Road (4 minute walk, straight down from the station). There are plenty of buses to Brighton. Please check out the Brighton & Hove buses app. If you’ll be travelling by car, please see the question below.

What’s the parking like at Brighthelm?

If you’re familiar with the Brighthelm Centre, you may know that the car park is relatively small and we cannot control how many spaces there will be on the morning of an event. This is why we give hot food traders the priority as they tend to have a lot more equipment. However this still doesn’t mean that all traders will be guaranteed a space, and if you’re able to find a space you may get blocked in until the end of the event. We always have volunteers working on the car park in the mornings to help assist and guide you.

However there are plenty of other parking options nearby:
The cheapest option is the Brighton Metropolitan College (formerly City College) car park which is £5 for parking all day, Book through Just Park.

The car park right next to Brighthelm offers an Early Bird Price of all day parking for £9. However you must enter the car park before 9am otherwise it will be considerably more for a full day of parking. If you wish to take this option, please let us know as we will amend your expected arrival time.

You can also book your parking in advance through Just Park.
