Get ready with the fans etc etc for tomorrow, forecast the hottest day of the week
On the Jeremy Vine show at luch-time a GP recommended putting dry tea towels in the freezer and either lying on them or putting on your forehead in bed so I am going to try this tonight. One listener said he had done this and didn’t even get woken up last night by the thunder!!!
Yes, I’m ready for the heat tomorrow, I find it’s hotter inside than out. Good tip about the tea towels Carol . @cariadcrafts11 I had two ‘cold’ hot water bottle’s last night, they were a real help.
Loving the witch Brenda, @teabreaks I’ve just finished a new Halloween design too, nothing like being prepared.
Not tried the cool towels or water bottles, but I find it is cooler upstairs, than with the fans on downstairs @daisywings@cariadcrafts11, don’t know why?
Phew hottest yet!!! Kept all windows shut and blinds down all day and just opened on the sunless part of the house now, so hopefully might get a breeze through. The tea towels were ok, the towels had warmed by the time I got in bed but they had cooled the pillows. Will try again tonight as the towels will have been in the freezer much longer. The hot water bottles I might give a try too.

Wow, Anne @AnneFontenoy, no thunder and rain here, a really nice day (sorry) with a cooling breeze. So glad to get back to our ‘normal’ temperatures. Great pelargonium
