I had a scam email as well, all reported to Folksy
There is no reason at all why you shouldn’t post relists too, Minerva. We pretty much all do it from time to time! I’m about to do it now.
Hen and chicks towel
Good morning, happy Wednesday to you all, xx
Here’s my Wednesday post thanks.
Just a question please.
If we combine P&P - how do we state that on the posting information?
Love the vibrant colours in this
Faved to here
Oh I am in awe of you Sharon for actually getting straight on it, as you know by my recent instagram posts I have enough of everything to open a department store lol and those pics were just a fraction of what I own … I must get my act together and do it.
Hi Shirley, you just need to edit your shipping costs to put a value in the additional items field. Yours are currently empty - which means each extra item is charged at full postal costs.
So, add an amount in each of the fields on the right. Customers making multiple purchases (even across different listings) will be charged the highest postage cost first, then the add on cost for the other items.
So for example if you want to charge £1.5 extra for an item, you enter 1.5. If you are totally combining postage at no extra cost, you need to enter 0 (zero).
You can have different add on costs differently for each destination (I see you sell overseas), and on different listings.
Go for it. I would certainly be up for buying embroidery threads from you if you list any - that’s one thing I am actually short of …
Good luck on your new shop Sharon @TheOldButton , and well done for going for it!
Hello Sharon thank you. I did look at putting an additional price but then I was concerned that the weight would go above the weight for a large letter & then would have to go as a small parcel! Normally I would weigh the items & give a cost!
What would you suggest?
Good Morning Sarah @dotterypottery …well done on your sales now added to the tally
I actually charge zero for extra items, but the same principle applies if I were charging an additional cost.
Yes I “lose out” when it bumps the parcel into the next weight/service category, but I outweigh that against the benefit of getting multiple sales from 1 customer.
My packaging (envelope/box,tissue paper and promo card) costs are lower as I’m sending in 1 package, and I’m only paying one fixed element of Paypal/Stripe fees. And I’m only making one trip to the post office (I walk so there are no petrol/parking costs, but it’s still my time). These costs are factored into my item price as overheads so I’m still getting them for each item.
Ah okay thank you.
Morning Folks, here is my listing for today. Bye for now, have a good afternoon.
Good morning everyone grey today.
Loving all the cats.
Congratulations on sales it does seem to have been a good January for many.
Sharon @TheOldButton hope your new shop goes well sounds like a great idea. I started out with, and still sell, packages of fabric (Patchwork Packages) and have sold a quite a few but I have got sidetracked being creative (no bad thing). I sometimes wonder if I should rebrand but have decided I like the name so will stick with it. I don’t have enough sales to justify splitting my shop but I think the clarity will help you.
A card for someone you love today:
Oh bless her, she’s gorgeous
Relists are fine. There’s no way I can make a new item everyday so most of what I show here are relists. Probably only 2 or 3 new items a month unless I’m making small items like baby booties.
I’m currently working on a custom order for matching mum and daughter jumpers so they’ll be nothing new from me for a while.
