Good morning Sparklers, yay happy dancing for sales peeps. Will be giving training today I managed to find a temp to cover my job after I leave next week which is a bit of a relief for me and my manager, had visions of ending up doing both, but thankfully found someone just in the nick of time lol!. only having been there for 8 months before getting a new post was feeling a bit guilty so even more looking forward to my week off now I can relax and not worry about the old job yay!

Good morning all - not long now till the new year, am trying to prepare for my resolutions by tidying up and eating as much of the naughty food I have in my house as possible! Think the christmas decorations will have to go away sometime tonight - they are making creativity difficult as they are all over my workbench and I have to keep moving them!
Finally got my camera out and managed to photograph this scarf.
Trying to get my son of the computer and was looking at buying a die cutting machine to see if I can get him making some things with it rather than gaming all the time. I don’t want to spend too much and was looking at these 2. Are any of you familiar with these or recommend any others.
Sizzix Big Shot Die Cutting Machine
Hobbycraft Die Cutting Machine Starter Kit
Never used one myself but when I was looking into getting one a while ago the Sissix big shot seemed to come out on top with regard to reviews and recommendations.
Max @paperchainsandbeads please will you add 3 sales. Thanks
These sales were down to Susan at British Crafters and all the tweeting and sharing. Thanks again
Clutch bags added to my SALE today
I have a big shot and am really pleased with it as it will cut not just paper, card but felt, thin metal too. The dies are a bit pricey but you can get a big range and most other makers dies fit . Good luck
First time on the computer for ages. We are settled in our new home now, with having a lovely first, family christmas here. Hopefully will be able to get into my craft room soon and start up again. Couldnt get in there before as been so much to do. Perhaps moving round Christmas not the best plan but in August when we put house on the market, seemed loads of time and didnt really expect to sell and move in 12 weeks!!! Not complaining tho
Anita I love my Sizzix, it’s really sturdy, I do in fact have 2 of them one I got for Xmas a few years ago and still going strong and one hubby found at a boot sale last year I use them for class too. It’s worth checking Ellison UK for branded sizzix stuff as they often have offers on, I have not come across a die yet that won’t work in the sizzix, even the £2.50 ones from the range work really well. Not tried the Hobbycraft one so can’t comment
