Does the weather affect your card making?

It is quite humid here in Scotland just now and I am finding it affects the feel of my paper and card. When I am placing the inserts they feel soft and the envelopes don’t feel as crisp. Anybody else feel the difference? My house is not damp so I think it must be the weather

I was teaching papercraft last year and making samples for a shop, and I hated the hot weather. Can’t say I noticed too much difference with the paper apart from my sticky fingerprints, but the glue used to dry so quickly you had no time to slide stuff into place properly. I ended up with a number of slightly off centre mats and layers! Also found it dries off stuff like promarkers too quickly to blend them properly.

Sweaty fingers was a problem and of course they can leave marks.

Everything did dry very quickly though.
