Caroline @Caroleecrafts - what on earth was the large dog doing in the tree?
All caught up to here.
Welcome back to the other returnees.
I just wanted to share this with you. Both my husband and I have apple watches, I know a lot of people see them as expensive gimmicks and to a certain extent they are. Saturday night we were watching tv when hubbyâs watch pinged, it told him that his heart had been racing at over 120 for at least 10 mins even though he appeared to be resting. He checked it a couple of times, felt his pulse and yes it was. He called 111 and after asking a few questions they said they were sending an ambulance. The ambulance crew monitored his heart and said they didnât think heâd had a heart attack but didnât know why his heart was racing so were taking him to A & E for tests. They took him about midnight on Saturday (I wasnât allowed to go due to COVID rules). I spent a rather stressful night wondering what was happening. He was allowed home the following afternoon with medication for angina and he will have to have an angiogram. He would never have known he had a problem, at least not until it had become a lot more serious, if it hadnât been for his watch. The moral of this story is, if youâre contemplating getting an Apple Watch or similar, donât hesitate as it may just save your life! Sorry for the long post.
Hands up as one of those people who thinks theyâre just a gimmick. Glad it proved useful and your husbands illness was detected earlier than it would have been. Hope he is OK x
