Lots of lovely things on here today you clever people.
The cardigan ordered is now finished apart from buttons. It took some doing but does look nice

I made a start on sewing up a jumper but it is a stripy one so takes more time as I have to match the stripes and of coarse there are more ends to fasten off.
So another relist

Evening

So sorry I missed yesterday, at the hospital having a CT scan - just a precautionary check up - and it was one of those days when if one thing went wrong everything did. Such a LONG day, was tired out on return.

Big thanks to Natalie @NOfkantsCurios for last month and to Max @MaxPringJewellery for this month. Could you also please add 3 sales to which I woke up to this morning.

Love your earrings @DeborahJonesJewellery
and your beautiful paining @GeorginaCrawfordArt - welcome to the thread

Sending big hugs to Mel @beaniehats

Sadly just a relist but I will try n catch up with photos very soon

Big hugs @beaniehats
Had a busy but mainly relaxing day. Got my booster jab tomorrow :crossed_fingers: I don’t have a reaction - didn’t react to either of the original two but have heard of plenty who have been quite sick with the booster.

Trying to keep up with how many wallets have gone to galleries and how many I have left to list on Folksy. I may have to do a proper stocktake before I get myself into a right pickle!

Really sorry to hear about your loss @beaniehats, really terrible and raw when it happens.

Just back and was able to do a catch up on the train as the wifi worked - shame the heating didn’t!!!

Quick post and collapse for now as need to go curl up and rock in a corner somewhere after my journey home - was seriously running out of patience by the time I got here. Didn’t see much sign of the climate stuff when changing stations in Glasgow but the usual early evening compliment of jakeys, junkies and neds were out in full force… 'nuf said.

Here’s hoping for a good November all round and thanks to both @NOfkantsCurios for last month and @MaxPringJewellery for this month - don’t know how you both fit it all in :grinning:

Hopefully you can relax this evening. That’s tiring enough without things going wrong.
@beaniehats So sorry to hear your sad news. It’s always difficult. I was heartbroken when Posie died unexpectedly last year.
I’ve just spent some time loving and pinning and thinking that there are so many new people on the thread now until I realised I was in the wrong post. Wouldn’t mind but the internet is really slow tonight.
Welcome if you’re new to this thread. I’m thoroughly confused!

What’s a jakey and a ned???

Thanks Cat, chilling out n a good night’s sleep on the cards

Ah a Glasgow speciality - a jakey is a habitual drinker normally of cheap strong or fortified alcohol, buckie (Buckfast) is the usual tipple of choice, sad cases really and some are homeless while many just can’t make it home . A ned is a hooligan or petty criminal - believe it came from a police code… Non Educated Delinquent, which stuck and suspect is a badge of honour for many.

The street theatre entertainment is fit to rival anything the Edinburgh Festivals have to offer…just gets a bit wearing when you’re tired and trying to navigate it with a giant case… one with a wheel hanging off. Probably should have taken a detour to avoid the punch up kicking off outside Central Station but didn’t have the energy and just ploughed through the middle of it - tbh they didn’t look capable of punching anything  :grimacing:
