There’s a special heartbreak reserved for breaking a special mug, isn’t there? I get charity shop ones for the studio as breakages happen and I can’t cry in front of a class!!
LOL JOY …a bone china cup for me so that I can stick my little pinky in the air…lol…snobs united xx
I also have a couple I’ve bought from French supermarkets as they are super shiny red and gold which make super accessoiries for photographing fused glass. But they are never ever plain white cheap pottery with or without decals.
I could add them to a ‘build a bear’, firstly stuffing the bear could be classed as a handmade element then if I stick one of these over it’s face I have used both parts and have just saved a week of my life…make him and myself a cuppa in a mass produced mug and give it a pair of bought in Ali express special earrings and Underneath the listing it will say designed by Bearlescent
…I won’t worry about copyright either I will just leave the Build a bear logo or tag on it (saw something similar a few days ago) and update my about section to state ’ I spend a lot of hours trying to source the right designs ’ (I read that one today) jobs a good ‘un.
I am a craft snob. Happy to state that. We once had someone try to grab a free ride onto an “open doors” craft event we’d all worked on for months. We’d walked miles delivering leaflets, spent ££££ getting the things printed, advertised, the lot…and she decided she’d join us at the last minute.
Note - she hadn’t been invited. Saying “no” was elitist, apparently.
