Happy New Year Jazzie Jumpers!
Well my youngest two worked from 5.30 til gone 1 last night, only to be told right at the end of the evening that it wasn’t double pay until after midnight! They always work through, and are supposed to get a 30 minute break, they don’t, but they still have the time deducted from the pay. Others add an extra 30 minutes to there time sheets, mine don’t, others take breaks, not mine. No doubt they will deduct the 30 mins from the double pay bit. Anyway, so they both came home really glum instead of their usual bubbly selves. Had they known this beforehand they would have gone to parties. I am disgusted with the organisation, why do employers do nasty backhand things like this. Will they work next New Year? I’m so glad I’ve been self employed for more than 30 year, at least I only have myself to blame. Oh yes, it’s a zero hours contract too, so they are never assured work!
Rant over, Today’s listing
As suspected I didn’t make it to midnight! Hope all the party goers aren’t suffering too much this morning. For the first time in ages I didn’t set an alarm for 5:30 and have enjoyed a lie in - not sure the dogs are too impressed though!
Happy New Year everyone. As usual hubby went out the back door at 11.59 and came in the front door carrying coal at midnight to bring in the new year. Then to bed
Yesterday brought me lots of unexpected sales so lets hope 2017 brings lots more for all of us.
Little Grandson is staying tonight so there will be no sewing today

I’ve missed a couple of months but would like to join the team again if I may
I’m afraid it might be relists for a couple of days as my craft corner is clogged up with the ironing board and ironing mountain at the moment so that our daughter and her boyfriend could get into the spare room to sleep.
Hi all - Happy New Year and I hope there aren’t too many sore heads today
I’m hoping the silver order will arrive quickly before I loose my mojo and then I’ll have something new to show you, but until then I’m starting 2017 with a January sale:
Happy New Year to you all. This is the first time I have tried a listing thread challenge and I am looking forward to it. My plan is to bump up the number of listings in my Folksy shop with some new ones but also to do a bit of a revamp: raising the profile of some of my favourite items and starting a sale of a few things that have been around for a while and need nice new homes.
Anyway - thought I’d start with a new listing today.
Well, despite the bad news for the children last night and the fact it is raining bucket loads and is a grey miserable day, I have just been cheered up no end by winning @dottiedesigns competition. I know this will result in a few more sales for me, and therefore more for this threads tally, I am over the moon!
Wow - lucky you Sue @SueTrevor - I know her hard work over at British Crafters helps out lots of fellow folksiers (and others) and I’m sure it will bring you loads of sales.
