Morning everyone - sun shining but I am wondering for how long - black clouds still around.
I am staying with the bird theme today - this is the matching cushion to the one yesterday - this time the Mallard in Flight. There is also a Quilt in the same theme. European Commission has issued a new call for proposals to maximise the synergies between tourism, high-end and creative industries. The objective of this call is to support the development of one (new) European tourism route around one high-end / luxury product.
The call is open to three high-end products. These are:
• Perfume,
• Chocolate.
• Jewellery.
This call is open to a transnational partnerships covering 5 countries. Partnerships can consist of a wide range of organisations including public authorities, chambers of Commerce, research establishment, Tour Operators, etc.
Applicants are free to propose any kind of action in line with this call’s objectives such as:
• market analysis leading to the identification of a common theme related to the European cultural or industrial heritage;
• mapping of attractions/sites/destinations and tourism and cultural services that could be linked to the identified theme;
• identification of additional partners, key stakeholders and sponsors, etc.
The expected result is the development and/or promotion of a European Route crossing over at least 5 Member States and showing key steps of the product’s value chain. The total funding available is €400,000 to support one project.
The deadline for applications is 5pm (Brussels Time) on the 16th September 2014.

Did a bit of gardening and cos the ground is sooo hard, ended up with blister on palm of my hand - I know should have worn my gloves !!!

I am glad you had a giggle, Donna. Rampaging facial hair is a problem in our house - I would like to say it is only my husbands problem, but hey ho, he can’t have all the fun!
Jax @silverspiral, yes we have as it goes! We are planning on ‘hitting’ Southampton next time. Always up for a shop and coffee day. Loving your earrings today - very feminine.
