Corinna @quaverlyric - I feel very lucky to live in this part of the country. I was persuaded to move down here from Lincolnshire when my marriage broke up. My Dad & stepmother and my sister & family lived down here so it seemed a good move. Unfortunately my dad and stepmother have since passed away and my sister has moved to London and the rest of the family scattered around!! I donāt regret it though and am happy to stay here even if I donāt get to see my family as often as I like.
Anyone out there watching Eurovision? Part 2 is up tonight with the finals on Saturday - in case anyone is paying attention. I have my faves (hello, Netherlands, Sweden and Estonia) and definitely the ones I donāt like ā¦ (looking at your song Portugal) ā¦

Morning all
Nothing from me today, got back into the decluttering. Cleared and reset the old iMac, clears the old printer ready to go to the dump next week. Another back of rubbish to take to, from the decluttering. Sat yesterday and made about 25 vellum mini envelopes, separated up all my card sentiments. Instead of in a pile in a large drawer, now neat and tidy in a small drawer.

Morning all, yay itās Friday and Iām ready for the weekend! will be my last listing for a while too as Iām dipping out for a few weeks. We are off to Norway & Iceland next week so Iām closing up shops after today so that I can avoid any last minute sales stress before we go. I have a couple of commissions to make over the weekend and get in the post on Monday. Got the grandchildren Monday afternoon and working Tuesday, then we travel down to Southampton on Wednesday. I still need to actually pack as well, got clothes hanging everywhere and open cases in the spare room with bits just chucked in and Iām out Saturday visiting so not much actual time to do everything before we leave. Iām already exhausted just thinking about the next few days .

@Little1Leather yes, we watched last nightās Eurovision semi. Weāll probably miss most of it tomorrow. Itās always a fun night XXX
Off to the house (itās no longer the site in my head) soon, via the forest to let the Werewolf burn off some energy and then the kitchen worktop place. Our interior design friend and her husband are joining us for the weekend too which will be lovely. Sheās been brilliant with her advice all the way through the build.

Good morning. Holly woke me extra early this morning which wasnāt really appreciated but unable to get back to sleep. Most unlike her, maybe she knows what I have got in store for her - a trip to the groomers and a long drive to London tomorrow - and she is getting her revenge in early!!
Ended up going to the garden centre yesterday. I had some pots that needed filling - spent a fortune and then had to pot them all! But it was a beautiful day and it needed doing.

I will probably shut up shop this evening and be absent until next week during my trip to the big smoke.

Good morning. Got quite a worrying day ahead. After the results of a blood test the Dr wanted to admit Claireās sister to hospital yesterday. Luckily they were able to arrange so that she can go first thing this morning instead and spend the day having tests instead as an overnight stay would have really distressed her. So Claireās mum and Mel have stayed over so that Claire can take them to the hospital at 8. Iām just hoping that it is nothing too serious.
