MAY 2025 Daily Listing Challenge and Promotion Thread

Eurovision last night - honestly, I couldn’t think of 6 acts I wanted to cut … looking forward to tomorrow night’s final and maybe, if I’m lucky, someone will gag Rylan (he really grates on my and my hugsband) …

Hope the weather stays as it is today – here in Surrey, it looks chill, but a bit of sun

Have a great Friday everyone …

Morning everyone

I’m really looking forward to Eurovision tomorrow - I never watch the semi finals as I want to save it all as a surprise! I have seen our own entry though and I really don’t like it!
In a country filled with such musical talent, how do we end up choosing such dross year after year? (Spaceman an exception obviously - we woz robbed!)
Anyway - I will still enjoy the cheesy spectacular of it all and it’s always a good excuse to gather as a family, eat party food and complain about the politics of it all…lol!

Morning

Have a lovely holiday, Max @MaxPringJewellery - and have a lovely time in London Roz @OrchardFelts

Hope the hospital visit goes ok for Claire’s sister, Emma @QuirkyOwlStudio

I’ve seen bits of Eurovision - can’t take too much of it in one go! Will watch some of it on Saturday probably. The women in the UK entry are from my area - they met at the local 6th form college where my son’s going now, and one of them went to his secondary school (not that he’s heard of them or anything!). I’m not saying I love their song, but it’s good to see local people doing well.

Here’s a mini painting from me today:

At last! I listed first thing this morning and tried to love you all on here, but Folksy stubbornly refused to allow me to visit any of your shops! I kept being told that your pages didn’t exist. Anyway, I have managed now, so you have all been loved.
And here is my new one: Whale for a new baby

Morning all

Birds singing their hearts out not sure why as still cold. Noticed the pigeon is nesting in a tree outside our window, she never lays eggs but every year goes through the process. The nest is so small she hardly fits on it.

Decluttering listing today

Morning everyone

My daughters home this weekend which is a real treat for us. She brought us some delicious fig jam from Portugal :portugal: She was there when there was the major power outage at the end of last month and was very grateful that day to have the euros I’d sent her with! I think she’ll always take cash with her abroard now. They had booked to go to a famous book shop that day, there were still queues to get in and had to look round with no lighting! They both love books. It had books in lots of languages so were able to find an English one to bring home.
