Oh that is so sweet, it is so nice when a gift can match the circumstances so well and makes the process of making it so worthwhile! Thank you so much for letting me know! :relieved:

I hope your day is more successful today, Joss @XStitcherJoss .

I just looked up King Alfred’s Tower since I have never heard of it. It looks quite spectacular, enjoy your day with your neighbour and dogs, Roz @OrchardFelts. We have let our national trust subscription lapse since I wasn’t well enough to take advantage of it. Now that I’m better, I would really like to start visiting National Trust properties again; there are so many beautiful places that we haven’t seen yet.

Enjoy your day with your family, Mel, @aquilacrafts .

Sorry to hear that life is stressful at the moment for you, Corinna, @quaverlyric. I hope your OH successfully reapplies for his role; I know how stressful the uncertainties of possible redundancies can be.

Love the wedding photos, thank you for sharing @Little1Leather . I’m loving the Paddington cake! It’s lovely that you have a photo with your mum and gran that you can cherish.

Sorry to hear about your husbands job Corinna @quaverlyric I hope the interview goes well and everything works out.

Lunch went well, sticky toffee pudding was a hit and there is a dangerous amount leftover - I might have to drop it off at the naughty step!

Evening all,
Anniversary wishes Brenda @teabreaks, glad your husband still doesn’t forget!
Lovely photos @Little1Leather - you look very like your Mum.
We are back, but I have a mountain of washing to do, and it looks like rain for the next few days, and I have nothing made or photographed, so I think I’ll drop out until the June Challenge to give myself a chance to catch up.
Will still be popping in and loving all your makes though.
I’ll leave you with another Croatian Kitty pic - this one was a on a shelf under the table where we were having coffee!

Exhausted - walked from the tower to the pub at Stourhead (approx. 3 miles), stopped for a revitalising ginger beer and then walked back again (another 3 miles!) Think I’m getting too old for all this activity. Holly and I now collapsed on the sofa and my bed is calling!! Wonderful walk though and the weather was very kind.

Congratulations on your sales Sarah @dotterypottery and Judy @judyrowleyart :dancer:

Glad you had a slightly better day today Joss @XStitcherJoss

Love your wedding pics @Little1Leather cutting the paddington bear cake and the three generations of ladies both absolutely gorgeous :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Looked like a lovely day out Roz @OrchardFelts

Brenda @teabreaks and Mel @aquilacrafts your gorgeous lunches are making me very jealous.

Thanks for all the kind thoughts over OH’s redundancy/job issue. I actually would love him to retire, but unfortunately as second time arounders we still have a mortgage to pay! But if he does not get the job seriously considering downsizing so he can retire. He has been amazing at getting back to his stressful job after his serious illness in 2018 but it really takes it out of him and he literally sleeps most of the weekend to recover! What will be will be! and we will deal with it when it happens but the thought of getting the house sorted to sell is rather daunting. We are not the tidiest of people

Evening all.

My brain has taken the weekend off, which is really very inconvenient. I don’t think I missed anyone though.

Morning all

Sorry about your DH’s redundancy Corinna @quaverlyric. At least ours was voluntary we did have a choice but think we will see a lot of this happening. Fingers crossed for the interview.

Morning,
Welcome back Nikki @GlintBeads I love the cat photos you’ve been sharing. Hope you get a bit of dry weather for your washing mountain!

Might pop to the nursery for a few plants later but otherwise not too many plans for the day.

Good Morning All

I’m not up to much today. Rover has a check up appointment at the vets and I’m off to see the chiropractor this afternoon. Hopefully if Rovie settles I’ll get some photographs done

I too am sorry to read about the carry on your hubby is facing Corinna @quaverlyric. Fingers crossed for him.

Here’s my wee landscape today.

I am getting error pages and saying bad header image, so I will come back later to show my listing of the day
It also won’t let me click on anyone’s item to go and like it, so I will just wave , put admin on the naughty step and eat the cream cakes all to myself

I will be back later to try again xx
