Congratulations on the sale Mina @theslothscavern these items are really cute!! And I can celebrate with a dance, need the exercise as there was no dancing yesterday! Also good luck with the packing and move.
Love your painting Susan, I planted a load of wildflower seeds yesterday and if they come up looking like this Iāll be delighted
Aww thanks for the kind words Mel @aquilacrafts ā¦.greatly appreciated
Thanks, itās probably the first time that something sells quite quickly and not to someone I (or my husband) personally know, so I am really excited!
Hello all
Hope all are well, or if not, sending hugs to you (or pets!)
Well done with the sales.
My listing today is a hanging decoration:
Afternoon from a very dark and damp South Wales, Glad to see the rain, but I wish it wasnāt sooo windy.
A sewing pattern from me for a summer dress - itās going to brighten up soon
Iām still tired after the three day craft fair, so just a relist today, but I will sort out the new items and list them soon, I promise! I have a pile of tractors to stitch before next weekend. Believe it or not, I sell more tractor items than all the others put together, and have done for at least twenty years. I also sell far more for little boys than I do for girls. The only real explanation I have for that one, is that maybe itās easier to find presents for little girls than for boys? I hope thatās it anyway.
Tractor apron age 2-6 years
From my experience, having both at the same age, and all through the years, it has been a lot easier to find things for girls than for boys. From toys to clothes & shoes, everything is orientated to girls. Similar to how you find a lot more for women than men. And the few ones for boys are either plain or with spiderman and george pig, so a tractor does actually seem to be a real treat, since boys like them a lot! So I think you nicely fill in a gap that seems to exist in the market
Sharon @theoldbuttonsupplies ā¦we are high up, so we are in the cloudsā¦canāt see down the road..
Iām pretty close to sea level Brenda, but tbh the visibility is poor here too. Very misty, even though the rain has stopped.
Nothing from me today, weāve had a bit of a traumatic day. We took Koko for a walk earlier and she suddenly went off her back legs and couldnāt stand. We took her straight to the vet and by the time we got there she was walking very gingerly again but uncomfortable. The vet did a thorough examination and said that it wasnāt neurological, which was what I thought it might be, and said it was probably arthritis. Sheās now on painkillers and is in a trial for an arthritis medication for a month. I think Iāve calmed down a bit now.
I have spent the afternoon doing laundry and cleaning up some reclaimed beads. Back is complaining, but not quite as loudly as yesterday. Looking forward to having some new listings later in the week. Still no sales to report so far.
Hilary @kokoblue that must have been awful for you and poor Koko, but pleased she is walking again, even if uncomfortably. Hope the meds help her quickly
Oh no! Poor Koko - big hugs to you both
Perhaps the vet could have given you something too!!
Not a nice experience for any of you. I do hope Koko soon feels better and gets some easier movement.
Tractor was both my boysā first word - thatās partly why I couldnāt resist the tractor bib last week. Also because my youngest permanently had one of those little bandana bibs on when he was little so I know it will be a practical gift.
That must have been really scary Hilary, hope sheās soon feeling much better x
Oh Hilary @kokoblue ā¦I hope Koko will be OKā¦so worrying for you x
Aww Hilary @kokoblue - hope you and Koko have a much more pleasant evening - Medicinal gin/ chocolate for you and some arthritis meds for her! Xx
