Thanks for running last month’s thread Nikki @GlintBeads. Wishing everyone a sales filled month - I’ve got my blister plasters ready for all the happy dancing .
I hope your cat is okay Mel @aquilacrafts and doesn’t need a trip to the vet - it’s so expensive these days even for simple things. Good luck with the medication Sharon @theoldbuttonsupplies could you try bundling him up in a towel with just his head sticking out so he can’t wriggle around and then stuff the meds in - we’ve done that before with bunnies and chickens.
Good morning everyone great to be back. The mist is hanging low over the river at the moment hoping it will burn off shortly for another glorious day.
We have Mum staying with us which is going quite well. After our spring garden renovations she is now able to sit out which has been a real bonus. Trying to get the balance right with outings and sitting today may be a sitting day.
Thank you Alison @FluffStuffCrafts for taking the reins this month. Congratulations on all the early sales. Hope your cat feels better soon Mel @aquilacrafts
Caroline @Caroleecrafts I should really have a no buy rest of the year. My bead obsession has got quite out of hand and I had to buy a new storage unit last week!
I am afraid it will be all Christmas from me for the first half of the month, hopefully something different by the end. A felt and crystal snowflake hanging decoration today:
I feel your pain Sharon - cats are so tricky to dose. If we get antibiotics they usually seem to be little pink pills and I cut a slit in the side of those stick shaped cat treats, tuck it in there and squish the meat around it a bit to seal up the slit as far as possible - that usually gets past her!
I was offered pills, but thought the liquid in yoghurt trick would work. He’s not a fan of meaty cat treats - he does love cheese so I’ll keep that in mind for next time.
I am supposed to be decluttering with a view to Lee painting my room next year. Trouble is have so much do not know where to start. Must get my big girl pants on and just get on with it. Can hear Mother’s voice barking like Barbara Woodhouse ‘stop procrastinating, crack a bin bad and start!’
Thanks Liz. I have liquid antibiotics for him, and I was using yoghurt Licky Licks. He is fine with this trick for the steroids med (they are human grade and banana flavoured ) and he doesn’t really notice it. But the antibiotics are a much bigger volume, and are obviously tainting the flavour. I suspect it will need to be forceable syringe injection into his mouth. I’ll definitely try the pills next time.
Hi! I’m Carrie from CarriesCupboard. This is my first time doing this challenge. It great to be here with all you talented people. Thank you x I hope I have done it right!!!
A question please - I’m trying to add 2 more products to an existing list (different coloured gloves) I can adjust the amount but can’tb add anymore photos. What do you suggested I do?
I would reduce the other photos and add one of each colour. Even perhaps doubling up photos, hope that makes sense. You need photos of the other colours, even if a close up. I use Fotor which means I can have from 2 colour ways per photo. 4 is always good as the photo can still be clear to look at but saves 3 photos on the listing.
Good morning all and happy October
Thank you for looking after us last month Nikki @GlintBeads and for hosting this month Alison @FluffStuffCrafts.
Still got men in the house doing the new double glazing. We’ve decided on dark grey windows and doors instead of white and having the house painted white so it should look lovely
I am going away again 6th to 15th October so I may be missing. I can’t handle doing anything on my phone as its far too small
A sale item today
Hi Shirley. I’m assuming you have already used the 5 photos for other colours? (10 if Plus).
You can do a collage for more than one colour in a single photo - I have done that for bookmarks with variations - see below. I used Canva for the template.
Or do a quirky photo of just 1 glove in each colour laid out in a semi circle - like fingers on a hand.
