Overseas shipping fees

Dear All,
I would like to make my items available for international buyers but struggling with the fees as I am not sure if it is cost effective. Also if anyone sold their products overseas can you please share the amount you paid for the postage. My items are under 500gr.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Have a lovely day!:sunny:

I do make available some items internationally but not heavy or awkward items. - The ones I usually sell are my more expensive items (tiny miniature paintings) that are small, light and cheaper to ship. I send them Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed. The downside is there are some extra customs forms to fill in and I have to take them to the post office counter so it is a bit of a faff. The big international market is the USA. I put on a large postage price to make sure I cover all extra postage costs - if the customer really wants the item they will be happy to pay a high postage price.

If youโ€™re selling small lightweight items, Royal Mail will be the cheapest option. You can find out what their prices are online.

I recommend sending Tracked only to many overseas countries (especially the US) as itโ€™s not the norm to sign for parcels (unless they are of very high value)

I use royal mail tracked. If you go on their website it has all the prices.
