Dear all,
I am new here and trying to figure out how to promote my shop on my Pinterest business account where it will show the price and Folksy. I don’t see share button like on Etsy and wondering if there is another way.

Wish I could help but I can’t figure out Pinterest at all, I’m sure one of the long standing sellers on here will give you the right advice though.

What I do, when I’ve listed something new, there is a share to Pinterest and a tweet button both of which use. I’m not sure otherwise, maybe you could deactivate and then relist which could work?

Thank Sue for your reply. Honestly I don’t see it. Only on the bottom of the listing there all platforms icons when I choose Folksy it takes me to Pinterest but to Folksy board.
All I wish and want to promote my items on my business Pinterest account.

Hello I don’t know if this will help. If you go into your account menu and choose shop appearance scroll to the bottom there is a place for all your socials there including Pinterest type in your Pinterest url.

The share to pinterest button appears as a banner on newly listed items and only on newly listed items, if it is an existing listing you want to add to pinterest you need to generate the pin within pinterest. (log into your pinterest account, go to create pin (top left ish), and then copy/ paste the item url where it says ‘save from site’)

Depending on what you’re using to look at Folksy, you might already have a pin button installed on your browser, or be able to add one.

Hi, I had the same problem. If you are on Safari you can’t add the Pinterest button. The only way I found was to use Google Chrome and download the Pinterest extension. Then when you open Folksy through Chrome it allows you to pin direct from Folksy items. I’m on a Mac so not sure if it’s different on Windows, or there might be an easier way, but that’s what ended up working for me
