I would like to take this opportunity to extend the best wishes of the season to all. I have been enjoying the Festival of Lights that is traditional in my religion this past week and hope that all of you have a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year.
Just a note, if you traditionally give to those less fortunate may I suggest [Crisis at Christmas] 1?. This organisation provides a hot meal, washing facilities and an opportunity to socialise for homeless people. A very worthwhile cause in my book.

May I mention a charity that I think does wonderful work, also? Hillside Animal Sanctuary They have just taken in yet more animals from a smaller sanctuary that closed down.
