I’ve just closed my shop for Christmas so wanted to wish everyone a very happy Christmas and New Year. It’s been lovely coming back to Folksy this year after my few years break: I’ve loved the feeling of everyone joining together and uniting, the great feeling of camaraderie between sellers, and all the recent innovations the Folksy team have introduced. Here’s to a bumper 2019 full of sales for everyone - and I’ll see you all again when I’m back to work on January 7th!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you too! I too have closed my shop for the Christmas break and will see everyone in the new year.

I am hoping to be more active with my shop as things with my Mum will hopefully be more settled in the new Year. Mum was diagnosed with dementia this summer and we have had a bit of a trying time but things are slowly improving so feeling positive for next year!

I haven’t decided whether I will close my shop yet. Hubby only gets Christmas Day and Boxing day off so I will probably be sewing anyway when he’s back at work!

We close our shop tomorrow night and we have our last Christmas market tomorrow too. Back in business on the 27th. Have a great Christmas everyone out there in ‘handmade land’.

I will be shutting up shop soon for most of Christmas as I will be away visiting family, but will be looking forward to getting back and cracking on with some new work!
