DH came home last night to say we are having a Big Day Out in June.
Via our membership to the AA we have free tickets to the ‘Goodwood Festival of Speed’
I’ve always wanted to go to Goodwood but never made it. I was supposed to go one year with the my car club to one of the Breakfast meets but I was away on holiday.
We are going to take a huge picnic basket and all the trimmings and dress up for it.
I’m so so excited I can’t wait.
That does sound very exciting. I’m into motor racing myself and would enjoy that. It’s way too far south for me though. Enjoy!

Oo, I’m envious! One year I’m going to go to the one where you have to dress up in 1950’s style clothing.
We live near Twinwoods (where Glen Miller was stationed) and they have a festival each summer, where people dress up in WWII stuff and they have bands and concerts. I should think that would be fun!
