Who is planning to watch The Wonderful World of Crafts on Channel 5
It looks quite a good one, it’s about crafters that are given the opportunity to turn their hobby into a business.
I’ve got it set to record on series link.
Off to key it in
Thanks for the reminder Jan. saw it advertised, but couldn’t remember when it was on
Yes I think it looks better than the usual ones that have to vote someone off each week, from what I’ve seen of the advert it seems more informative.
I’ll probably watch most of it on catch up or record as hubby gets home from work about half way through the programme.
I think I’ll be watching on catch up too
I like catch up, I can watch when it suits me and I can re watch the interesting bits or repeat some little detail that I missed first time round
Didn’t I see on FB that one of our sellers is featured?
Sheeba from @HatchfullyYours with the amazing caved eggs?
Yes, I saw the advert for it last night with a close up of hands carving an egg, so I guess that must have been her!
EEek excited for you @HatchfullyYours, Sheeba… at last, we have waited months for this xx
watching it right now
Thanks guys ! Thanks Debby @Bearlescent, Helen @HelenCliffordArt , kim @konyskiw, loved the first episode soooo much.
Even though I had a very tiny part, the next episode has me speaking without my mask on and I am dotted across the four episodes. They wanted to go more mainstream at craft fairs. But I’m so so grateful for this opportunity and now been invited for an interview with BBC radio - ESSEX on Monday .
It’s 4 episodes of ‘The wonderful world of crafting’ every Thursday till the 24th October. So so inspiring all of them, ain’t they?
Loved the programme
And I believe the lovely Sheeba is going to be writing a blog post about the show for us.
I enjoyed it, it’s lovely seeing crafters being supported and helped by other crafters
Hi Camilla sorry for the delay but I should be able to send you it by the weekend
We got three more episodes to go. Very very excited as they are all amazing makes and very inspiring.
I’ve just seen that @The Crafting Cow is on Folksy too,

Watched it and very good. The only observation I have is the craft fairs, presumably the cost if the stall was paid for by the programme. If so the money taken gives a false positive as travel, possibly accommodation and rent has to be taken off.
Still a good watch though.
I watched it…it was quite interesting. That craft fair looked good too - has anyone done that one?
