All things miniature

I’ve lost track a bit and not sure if I have already shown this miniature carpet or not.
Sorry if you have already seen it.

I love making miniature food, but don’t get a lot of time for it these days. They aren’t 1/12th scale but made to a jewellery size. This is my miniature blueberry cake necklace…

and this is my miniature fruit flan necklace…

How cute is this?
Just stumbled across this new Folksy shop, lots more little teddy bears inside it. Not toys though, collector’s items.

The bear is soooooo cute
I’m totally addicted to minuatures even more so since I’ve taken my Art In Wax to a couple of miniature fairs now. I want to buy everything lol

That’s so cool Shirley

Look forward to seeing him in situ

The little bear is so sweet!! Looking forward to seeing the photo of him in his new home!! I’m in awe of the skill that must have gone into making him.

Oh wow, what adorable little bears! No wonder you succumbed Shirley!

I have just finished off and listed my latest hand stitched carpet

Here is how it looks in a room setting

I have been lucky enough to sell two of my hand stitched carpets. Sadly not on Folksy though. They have both gone to the same collector in New York.

That is great Shirley - I’m not surprised they are collected.

My miniature art is going down well over seas especially the modern style pieces.

I’ve just taken photos today of this Pop Art Roses piece in my Gallery.

Lovely Hazel. Love the penny sat on the typist chair!

No glass at the time of the photo because of lighting problems. At 40 stitches to the inch,my optician says my close-up vision is good ( unlike trying to watch TV,which isn’t far enough or close enough!)
I love things with really tiny detail…if only I could find a market for them. As we all know, you just can’t charge for the time it takes to do, these wee ones being a case in point.

Denise @mumcat2 those little owls are lovely.

You should make little cross stitch samplers and frame them for dolls houses.
Or make tiny little cross stitch cushions.
Have a look in the Dollhouse Miniatures section on the Dark Side for some ideas.

Thanks Shirley and yes the penny is there as when I show The Gallery online not everyone realises it is in miniature !! And I have been asked what is the address so they can come and visit, they knew I sell wall art so assumed this was all life size lol

My own Gallery I wish lol

So now I have a penny in shot and mention its a 1:12 scale miniature Art Gallery, and I don’t mention that The Gallery has got an address (fictional of course - 27 Coast Road) and a back story of course as with all thing Miniature !!! The Gallery is a Victorian shop which started life as The Granary a bakery which closed down in the 1970’s and has been regenerated and decorated by Mr Rayfield (mini builder) as an Art Gallery for his wife who just loves to paint !!!

How fun is that lol

I love the story of the regenerated shop Hazel!

I make up stories about my dolls house too. I have no miniature dolls in it because the mini people who live there have actually all gone away for the day to the sea-side. The servants have been given the day off too.
Maybe they will visit your Art Gallery!
