Any plans for shipping profiles?

Are there any plans on the horizon for shipping profiles to be implemented. It’s a real pain if you need to adjust shipping and have to go through each individual listing. It would make it easier to update shipping costs and when listing new items. It seems a bit behind the times not to have it…

You can bulk edit your postage charges from your dashboard so you don’t have to do each listing individually. I think there are any plans to introduce shipping profile but you can always suggest it in the user voice section http://folksy.uservoice.com/forums/117463-suggested-features

Bumping this because although the current system is okay, I have a suggestion to improve it (I can’t be the only person who has the issue I don’t think?).

I usually ship items in 2 categories, large letter up to 100g and large letter up to 250g. It’s no problem manually entering world zones and the bulk listing system is great. But although 5 days is my standard turnaround time, I sometimes have to get bits in, which means the turnaround time is 1-2 weeks. At present when something sells out I have to manually alter the turnaround time, and then manually switch it back once I’ve restocked.

I don’t actually need the bulk edit option really, as it’s usually one or two items at a time. What would be a time saver is the option to save a shipping profile, e.g. ‘larger letter 100g in stock’ and ‘large letter 100g not in stock’ and swap between them as needed. This would be a lifesaver around Christmas, when I sell bits in person and my whole stock can go in a few hours!

Also it might just be me but the bulk editor is glitching today?

I can’t tell if anyone’s suggested this before, but it would be a huge help.

I’d love to be able to change shipping times in bulk. I change mine all the time (on other marketplaces) depending on how busy I am, so they can change from 5 days to 3 weeks. But it’s not very easy to change them on Folksy, so they are always longer on here, which is a shame

Yes that’s something I’d like too, the ability to bulk set the shipping time on all your listings (without it affecting anything like shipping prices). When I go on holiday I like to extend my shipping times, and right now it looks like I’d have to go into every single listing to do that. It’d be great to have that added as an option on the bulk edit feature, I just wouldn’t want it to link in with changing the shipping costs because they’re not all the same price.
