Anyone else getting messages from GripBid Team?

I have just had two email messages from GCgeorge x

I’ve had about 5 since yesterday so deleted them and marked them as spam.

I’ve just had two emails.

Email admin with their user name and Admin will ban them tomorrow.

I’m going to see if they have a facebook account if someone can check if GripBid have a twitter account we can tell them of our displeasure of them spamming our email accounts.

Well they don’t appear to have a facebook site and I’m very angry now as they’ve spammed me again as George this time. I’ll report it to admin in the morning when admin are available

Clearly my work is rubbish, they don’t want me :wink:

Don’t worry Paula I haven’t had the message either. But after reading the last few messages I’m starting to think it’s a good thing.

I’ve just received the email… I got excited at first thinking it might have been a custom order, and then I saw GripBid and slowly deflated lol…

Recieved more as the same contacts as above.This is the companies email helpdesk@gripbid.com I am emailing them now detailing my displeasure at their methods. Perhaps we should all spam them as they have been doing to us lol

Well i have sent one off to them. It started off ā€œproperā€ but i couldnt help it, i think it turned a bit tongue and cheek, especially when i signed it off ā€œHoping not to hear from you again dear friends via folksy LOLā€

Hi, please can I ask, if you have replied to them, have you then inadvertently given them your email address whereas before they only had the folksy one? I thought that giving spammers your email address was a no-no , is this not the case. Sorry for the daft questions I am a bit of a technofeeb. Rachel

I do get what you mean here but i sent them an official email of complaint from my buisness email to theirs,bypassing the spammers accounts and not involving folksy directly either. The email is solely used for communication and they can be blocked easy enough. In order to officially complain to them it was the only way i could see to do it. As such they of course can reply and in fact i would welcome a response from them as to the points i put to them lol

Good idea @PaulsJewels , you never know , the officials at GripBid might not even know this is happening or to what extent. EIther way tbey need to know that it snot the professional way of doing things and that us on folksy won’t be selling or shopping there.

Rachel@greenwoodmakes If you use the contact admin bit at the botton of the Folksy main page you can send admin a message with the name of the spammer telling admin that Gripbid.com user name and also a link to their account.

Admin will block them. These gripbid spammer are relentless in opening new accounts to spam us grrrr
