Unfortunately it mentions E and A but not Folksy… but someone in the comments is asking whether there’s a genuine handmade alternative to E so maybe all the Folksy sellers should leave a reply?
Yes, I’ve seen it doing the rounds. Good idea to drop @folksy in the comment and share
Sadly you have to make an account to reply and as never read the Guardian will not be able to reply.
The article is being posted round regularly on Facebook so I will be tagging Folksy every time I share
But lots of readers read the comments (they’re often more entertaining than the articles) so a comment about Folksy might just reach a few people who have never heard of it and who knows, they might even come and have a look…
I have just been trading at a 3 day Christmas Fayre at Aberglasney Gardens and beforehand I was a little concerned that due to the cost of living crisis, my sales would be down on last year…but hey ho, they were up considerably so I think people are looking for something unique and hand made. Since the weekend, my Folksy sales have increased…yippee!
Just finished reading the article, the comments are far more interesting and revealing than the article itself. Myself, I’m always happy to engage with a browser and would never expect a sale to come from it.
Thanks for posting @LooneySpoons
