Apparently the 17th is International Bat Appreciation Day so bats?
Maybe Spring flowers or gardening too while hopefully we’ll have a few dry days so we can all get outside a bit more
April 22nd is earth day which might be a good one

Also… showers, baby birds, diamonds (April birthstone), lambs, the great outdoors, leaves, spring green, looking forward to summer, spring cleaning, pastel colours…

I see that the list is already up, yay! I wasn’t coming to contribute but rather to ask a silly but important question.
I see that the theme for 3rd April will be shawl. Most of my shop items are shawls and so the titles and tags already contain various phrases with the word shawl in them. Do I need to go through all my relevant items and specifically have a tag just for “shawl” on its own or will the items be picked up anyway because of how many times the word “shawl” appears in the title or tags already?
Edited as I misunderstood the question
This particular promotion only looks in tags, and the items using that tag then appear in the specific section on the home page.
For Theme of the Day, the tag has to be the exact word (or words) on the list, so in this case it’s “shawl”. Not knitted shawl, or pink shawl. And not plural either.
Of course you can also have shawl on its own and in a phrase in other tags, title and description, that will continue to work for search.
So I need to check/adjust the tags on 90+ items? Okey dokey. Of course, what would help is if the tags we’ve used on an item could show up under the title in some kind of list view of all of our items. Maybe the bulk edit thing could be expanded to more than just shipping cost.
Being able to bulk edit tags in on our wish-list/to-do list but in the meantime would it help if I asked Doug if we could add the “shawl” tag to your listings?
It’s OK I’ll go through them myself as I have a few days to do it and as I use all of the available tags I’d rather choose which one to swap out myself.
Thanks for all your suggestions. You can now find the list for April 2024 in your Seller Dashboards and I’ll list them below too, along with a graphic you can save.
PS. For “Shelfie” on Tuesday 30th April, this is anything you can put on your shelves (eg ornaments, book ends, planters) to fancy them up, or for furniture makers, the actual shelves

Is a “shelfie” literally just an ornament that sits on a shelf?
Ive done a search and there are about 6 items that kind of fit this, before the search moves onto James Green’s wonderful prints of Sheffield…
