Helen @HelenCliffordArt …after painting nearly 4000 small paintings I doubt if I could paint anything large any more…lol…(they also pop in the post box without any problems as well.)

I like painting bigger things, but they generally take a long time to sell for me, and then I run out of space and it puts me off painting more. The smaller it is, the easier it is to store and keep on working
It also means people can get an original piece of work from you without having to spend loads of money, good when they’ve only seen your work online to sample it, good when they don’t have much spare money to spend and it makes it more giftable. Plus it’s not just us with the storage problems, the people who like buying art generally already have walls full too, so the smaller something is the easier they can squeeze it in.

I’m really liking your semi abstract watercolours Graham @GKWatercolourArt. They are very moody and atmospheric, almost Turneresque.

I have gone hard core anorak for my latest painting, of a classic Bristol SU type bus at Mousehole, Cornwall, infamous for very narrow roads and hairpin bends, thus home to some quite charming baby buses over the years. Mousehole itself (pronounced Mowzul) is charming too.
