Hi everyone, I’ve been busy on other projects the last couple of weeks, not done much painting but I’m getting back into it now, I have three bird painting planned, this is the first, Blackbird, watercolour on hot pressed paper. I think the humble Blackbird has the most beautiful birdsong.

Hi all, so, what’s happened to Spring? This cold weather forces me to paint winter scenes…

Here’s the set of paintings I was working on last month. Managed to get them finished and posted just before I went on holiday last week:

They were to go with this set I’d done a couple of years ago for a couple’s first child. They’re just about to have another baby now so needed a new egg to hatch.

Lovely work as usual. I spotted this phone box in Perranuthnoe at Easter. It still has a phone inside but I’m not quite sure how you get to it! I have named it “Communication Difficulties in Perranuthnoe”.

Lovely combinations of greens and oranges, Brenda - who would have thought they’d go together so well?
