Beautiful carp picture @HelenCliffordArt. Brenda @teabreaks, you have got me rooting out my thermals.
Hello all,
Love the Carp picture @HelenCliffordArt, just added it to one of my Pinterest boards. Also the snowy mountains @teabreaks, beautiful, love the use of purple flowers against the snowy backdrop and the shade of blue for the sky, makes me feel a bit more chilly though.
I agree with @ChrisStoneArtist, will be getting out the big quilt tonight!
morning all I shall be painting today but right now, I don’t have a clue what !!!
Be back later with something to show…keep painting…
Hello everyone!
It’s definately nippier this evening, even without shivering at @teabreaks snowy scene!
Thank you for the pinterest link @ArtilyEverCrafter.

Lovely autumn colours Brenda @teabreaks. I would need an extra pair of hands if I went that small. One for the paintbrush, one for the magnifying glass and one for the cup of tea.
@ChrisStoneArtist great painting…that reminds me of my youth sitting in the garden when the sun came out…it seemed to come out a lot more back then…lol…
As for an extra hand…I have one for the paint brush, one for my cuppa…and I manage to see the small work quite well although old age is getting to me…so IF I need it, I have one of those magnifying glasses that goes around my neck and balances…
I would have trouble if I painted anything larger than 8x6…
I did this acrylic painting today but not going to list it yet as I have others to list first…this one is 7x5"…I get in such a mess with acrylics…sigh…
.
good morning…back to my favourite purple today…now in my shop

Purple with butterflies and glitter too, @teabreaks, that’s lovely.
Roll on weather for lounging in the garden, @ChrisStoneArtist.
I’m working on a pet portrait commission today. Hoped to find some coverage of England v Sri Lanka on the radio, but for some reason they are covering the Australia v SA. Oh well…
@HelenCliffordArt Is that Cricket Helen?..You must really love it…to me it is boring watching it, so listening to it on the radio would certainly send me to sleep…lol…hope the commission goes well.x
Yes, good luck with the commission @HelenCliffordArt. As for cricket, splitting the atom seems easier to understand. I don’t understand the scoring, in spite of numerous attempts by others to explain it. Hope you enjoy it though Helen.
Yes, that’s cricket - I find a cricket commentary the perfect thing to draw to! I can’t be doing with music in the background; Radio 4 can be Ok, but somethines take too much of my brain … but two people chatting to each other all day about cricket is wonderful. Half the time I don’t even know the score - in fact I’ve had a most satisfactory day’s listening when it’s rained all day and they’ve hardly actually had any play but I’ve been well entertained! And with built-in breaks scheduled for drinks, lunch and tea, I’m inclined to stick better to my task too.
Funny what works, isn’t it?
@HelenCliffordArt …all I can say is “That is hilarious!”…
I like to sing to myself…ha ha… …I sit here looking out across the Bay to Devon…can’t fault it…
More butterflies today…
