Hi all
Happy Friday!
Catch up later as I’m extremely tired my sleep pattern is pants all the time but last night had to be the worst for a while, so running on empty today:sleeping:
Anyway here’s mine today, Steph xx

We have a total boycott on halloween in our household, but that pumpkin looks amazing… you always seem to have something new and unusual up your sleeve, Sue.
I’ve always hated any setting up and taking down situation - could never have been a market trader! - so my ‘live appearances’ are very few and far between
Afternoon all,
Love that pumpkin Sue @SueTrevor. Better than the real thing!
I don’t think it’s too early to promote your Christmas board Karen @silvertreejewellerydesign, anyone who gets paid at the end of the month will only have this pay day and the next, so may split their Christmas shopping and start now (hopefully).
On that note can I report 2 sales please Max @paperchainsandbeads
(2 packs of Christmas tags - so the Christmas shopping rush has started!)
Just a relist today.

faved to here x
Afternoon Angels,
Sue @SueTrevor I find the prep stressful too, I am fine once I am there and all set up.
Afternoon everyone - just got home after walking two springer spaniels with my daughter - where do they get their energy from - certainly know that I’ve done it but very enjoyable. They are lovely boys. A cushion today - I call it ‘We are Sailing’. Have two available and will do a special on the two - 2 for £20.
Loved and tweeted everyone
Afternoon gang, it’s almost weekend - YAY! All clicked and loved to here.
I know what you mean Sue @SueTrevor - I always enjoy them once I am there though. I think what gets me is no matter how often I seem to label and price everything I am always having to do it again once I’m set up - where do those price tags go to?! Just finished a mammoth session of boxing, labelling and pricing for a batch thats going into a craft shop on Sunday. Now to do some photographs and maybe then I’ll have time to make something
Went to the craft show - we went partly to see if it would be worth doing next year as it has a fairly good reputation. However, I wasn’t impressed - so many resellers of chinese imports and market stall goods. The only bit really worth visiting was the food hall - got some dinner for next week!
Steph @stephshortstationery - yes thanks, got the email, just havent got round to doing anything about it - to be honest I forgot but will try and sort an order soon Thanks.
a relist from me today
just thought I would show off here. I knitted this for a friend , finished the other day and it FITS and He LIKES it , phew
I’ve written a blog posting about it too
Well, I was able to set up today for the weekend, and the nerves have gone! I had lots of lovely comments from the other stall holders and even took enough money to cover my diesel costs for the weekend! Having said that, the normal 35 minute journey took us 2.5hours on the way back, albeit via a lovely shopping area and later on in the journey the chip shop, how do people cope with rush hour every day?
@SueTrevor, sounds like you are all set for a great event, fingers crossed!
Just back and trying to warm up from a very enjoyable and productive day. Jacqueline of @JAustenJewelleryDesign and I, alongside our hubbies and children, spent the day at Charmouth, love a bit of fossil hunting!
It was fantastic, Jacqueline and I were last off the beach!

Hope the show goes well Sue @SueTrevor. I find that my greatest concern when going to a new fair is the practical arrangements - parking, how easy to get from the car park to the venue, and how much space I have. Once I know that the rest of it is ok.
Karen @silvertreejewellerydesign lovely that you and hubby found each other later in life. I had around 30 years with a largely staff-facing job and although the majority were fabulous the memorable few make customer-facing at fairs a pleasure in comparison!
I have a two-day fair to look forward to. Early start tomorrow - think I will appreciate the extra hour’s sleep on Sunday!
Oh dear, can hear the firework season is just starting here.
New earrings today
A bit footsore after a day in London. Visited the abstract expressionism exhibition at the R A - very interesting although not all my cup of tea! Almost forgot I have a sale to report - please can you add it to the tally Max @paperchainsandbeads. Glad you had a good day out with Jacqueline and family. I love Charmouth, though I haven’t been there for years!
Relist again I’m afraid, Hubby had a day off and we went to Meadowhall shopping followed by a quick trip to Ikea
We had a great day but I MUST get a haircut!!! Argh! I look awful - oh well, the fossils didn’t mind my mop so that is all good xx Liking our minions and halloween buckets though Natalie xx
I need a haircut too, but I hid mine under a hat!
As to the buckets, no tricks, but the fossils were a treat!
X
My item for today, another Santa elf style hat scarf with Pom Pom for a child, this one in Denys brunton designer yarn.

Sounds like you had fun on the beach Natalie @NOfkantsCurios and Jacqueline @JAustenJewelleryDesign. Keep meaning to head to the beach but never seem to make it - Lyme Regis is on the to do list!
Busy day today, doubt I’ll get all I have planned done but I’ll give it a go!
A new scarf from me today
Morning, had a few days away, things are so quiet at the moment on here i could have spent the whole month away lol
Ah Roz and Karan it’s a little disheartening when things are slow, i hope things have started to pick up.
Added this last night.
Have a lovely Saturday x
