I was forced to wear a beard at the stag do last night.
Apparently it was the only acceptable way of having a lady join in!
Stubble- yes. Slightly longer stubble so itās just becoming a beard- ok. A full on garden gnome beard- not my thing.
My husband hates shaving. And Iām glad- I hate that rubbery feeling to the skin after he shaved (the last time was probably a few years ago now mind) but he just keeps the stubble short with a trimmer.
I donāt need it to be that neat to be honest- I think itās more masculine.
Weāre both in our mid-twenties mindā¦I may change my mind if he starts to go bald on top or grey. Will cross that bridge when we come to it! Hahaha
I prefer no beard, however my artist husband is currently going thru a stage where he wants a beard like Monet! needless to say he aint getting a lot of kissing from me, it just feels wrong! Artist - a world of their own!
I like a bit of stubble, though my husband is clean shaven now, some goatee beards are ok but definitely no long beards! I also prefer men to have long hair or really really short hair .
Love a bit of stubble personally. Well, not on me personally but on my husband!!
Donāt like beards though.
I never used to like beards then FI started to grow one and I barely noticed it! He does look nice with a beard, especially when itās trimmed and neat.
I much prefer clean shaven, but if it has to be then it must be long enough not to prick me when he bends down to my inevitable position at the computer as he leaves for his night shift - stubble is the enemy.
Clean Shaven for me. I donāt like Beards to the extent I named my shaving foam āBeards Awayā
Saw a picture of Brad Pitt on the Telly the other night. He had a straggly and unkempt beard and I have to say, for a handsome man, he looked awful! A hard thing to do for a man like Brad Pitt. These comments come from a devoted beard fan - so he MUST have looked bad!
I would have said definitely no beard - the thought of snogging whiskers has always been repulsive to meā¦fast forward a few years and Iāve met a wonderful guy with a neatly trimmed greying beard (well, he is in his 50s) and Iāve discovered that beards do not get in the way of snogging after all!

No truer a word said Liz!
I never used to like beards and when hubby first grew a goatee I hated it. He kept it a little while and then shaved it cos he kept getting acne in it and it was annoying him and it was so weird but I got used to him being clean shaven again. Fast forward a few years and he grew another goatee. Again, he had a few irritating spots in it so he shaved it without telling me he was going to do it, I said I think he looked better with the beard, he grew it back and has had one ever since and rarely gets any spots in it any more. He has a very neat well trimmed goatee. I donāt like big bushy beards or the long elf type beards either.
Many years ago before he went grey, my husband grew a beard and moustache, beautiful auburn/red, I loved it but he has very sensitive skin and it irritated him a lot. Clean shaven for years, and I donāt think he wants a grey beard and moustache. Wolverine is wonderful. How gorgeous is that man!! Liz.
A definite vote for hairy men here, and Liz @lizdyson love your post hee hee
I like a bit of stubble, but it can be pretty abrasive at times ā¦I hope that doesnāt sound too rude, itās not meant to be !!
Love hubby with his goatee, but he has to be clean shaven at the moment
I told my hubby when we got married that I would divorce him if he ever grew a beard and he said he would divorce me if I ever put my hair UP.
He now has a beard and when I go out , my hair is tied upā¦
we have been married 45 yearsā¦mmmā¦something odd thereā¦lol
My husband is sporting a lovely little handlebar moustache. He grew a beard but I insisted on something quirkier ( yes, Iām hard work) heās only 40 but I think he can pull it off, he looks lovely a bit of rough does you good wink wink x
I Say! Phew - is it warm in here?
No beard!
Best wishes,
beardless matt
