Sunshine here at the moment, which is great because I’m planning on taking pic’s this today for my Christmas advent that I’ll be sharing on Instagram again this year.
Good morning everybody. I hope it’s a brighter morning where you are than here on the west coast of the Scottish Highlands, which spends most of it’s time under a cloud. But at least it’s dry for a change!
I have two special Christmas cards to share, both just listed yesterday. Here’s the first, an A5 high quality reproduction from my original watercolour painting and drawing with watercolour pencils, a real young Highland stag in a real local landscape Available singly or in packs of 4, with a Christmas greeting inside:
And here’s the second, a 6" square card of the ever popular robin, singing at the top of his voice… from my original illustration in watercolour pencils and Indian ink. The greeting inside reads “Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year”
Thanks for asking Carol, for my Christmas Advent on Instagram I post one little Christmas pic each day from Dec 1st to the 24th. This year my theme is ‘Children’s Christmas Fancy Dress’, so I’ve had great fun thinking of Christmas costumes, they’re all drawn, painted and ready to photograph (I didn’t get chance yesterday as the clouds appeared). Sunny at the moment so I shall be taking pics today with a bit a luck.
A beautiful day today, quite mild and sunny, so hope you got your pictures taken Tina @DaisyWings, love your idea of the advent on Instagram, I will pop in and take a peek, bet they are so cute.
Love your figgy pudding too @bramleycards, making me feel hungry
Thank you Carol @cariadcrafts11,don’t think there is a sixpence though!!
Trying to take photos are the bane of my life Tina @DaisyWings yours always look good!
I don’t have many Christmas cards that I haven’t already shown here but just wanted to say ‘hi’ and hope everyone is having good views etc! As usual many lovely creations on this thread…I’ll post one pop up card that I don’t think I’ve already showcased.
Also, may I ask whether you all have Paypal and Stripe or just Paypal or just Stripe set up for your shops? When I joined Folksy I was encouraged to set up a Stripe account and did not bother with a Paypal one…I’ve used Stripe elsewhere and have never had customer issues with it. Today I had my first ‘near sale’ but because I’m not set up for Paypal I think this put the customer off. Do you have a take on having two or one payment options or finding one to be more popular than another? Thanks. x
