“Its almost the end of the school holidays, and Mum and Dad have managed to book a late holiday by the seaside. I am so excited. It will be lovely end to the summer break. I will be going with my baby brother , he’s only 3 so can’t play many games with him yet, I’m a big girl now, and I am 6. I am just playing on the swing whilst my parents pack up the car”

The only thing we had left to do was to drop my pet cat ‘Jess’ off at his new home for the week…my nanas house. He hadn’t been before, so it would be like a new home for him, oh gosh I do hope he’ll be ok.
We would of loved to take him with us but no cats or dogs allowed in the caravan we are staying in.

"Well we are off, all packed up, me and my lil brother Joe are so excited. We are sitting at the back, and wave to everyone!! We go past nana’s house and wave to her and Jess. This is the start of our adventure. We begin to play ‘I Spy’, what do you see Joe beginning with ‘R’?
Playing eye spy had given me an idea for my first holiday adventure, I’m going to try and Spot as many little animals as I can,then I’m going to buy a drawing pad and some coloured pencils to write and draw what I find …a holiday journal

Well what another chilly one. The sun did eventually pop out around 4 and what a difference that made!!! Don’t say the summer is over now!!!
Met a friend for cuppa and scone this morning at the local garden centre. It was lovely to catch up and have a good old mooch together.
“we started to play but my silly little brother was saying all the wrong things like lorry, garage, then eagle!!! Still we had a laugh I was determined to get cross on the start of our holiday. Then he shouted butterfly, yay, well done Joe, so I will try and remember that and start my journal off with it. It is my turn now …”
I was trying to think of pretty coloured butterflies and which word to choose for our game.
It was joes turn after he had guessed right.
While he was busy still being silly and trying to think of a word,
I was looking out of the car window, we passed a garden centre with loads of flowers and plants on show…perfect I thought there it is my next word …flowers and luckily mum and dad wanted a break and something to eat and drink. So off we went inside.

Quite a chilly one today, nicer when the sun shines, but not shining often enough!!!

What a glorious day, chilly start though, hope everyone is enjoying it too.
Trip to the garden centre this morning, got some hardy cyclamen, very pleased they were on special offer too!!!
“Yay, I got it right, Joe is not very happy that I got it so quick. I think I’ll share my bag of sweets with him, I know he’ll soon forget. Which colour would you like Joe?”
Cool grey and threatening rain!! Not a very nice Sunday, still means I can catch up indoors and do some crafting yay!!! Got a birthday card, parchment one to make for my sister’s 70th birthday so will enjoy that. 70 crikey!!!
